This right here is my crazy awesome sister. She's a firm believer that baking is about fun and not perfection, that as long as it is delicious, it doesn't matter if it's ugly, and that baking with friends can cure any ailment. Be sure to check out her blog for fun and easy recipes, and check out her Facebook page for more updates!
Seriously. Who knew pop rocks on cookies was such a brilliant idea? I've added pop rocks to jell-o shots before, which was a huge success, but I never thought to add them to cookies. And what better occasion than the Fourth of July?
This recipe was quick and easy to bake, fun to frost, and super fun to eat! It's like a little fireworks party for your tastebuds.
Below are some pictures of the baking process. You can find the recipe on my sister's blog . The original cookie recipe can be found on Sally's Baking Addiction as well.
Pop Rocks make everything more fun.
Before I share pictures of the actual baking process, isn't my sister's baking nook just the cutest? It's one of the cutest (and most delicious) parts of our house.
Happy independence day! Now I'm off to enjoy some backyard grilling with family.
Enjoy your freedom, friends!
Welcome to the blog!
