This past weekend was such an exciting one! I was able to visit my alma mater and take some graduation portraits for my very close friends, I attended the Styling with Dear Sweetheart Events Worskhop, and I met with the designer who will be designing my logo. Even though it was exhausting, it was a beautiful, satisfying, and creative weekend, and one that I definitely needed.
You've GOT to attend this conference.
If you are anything like I am, you are a little bit overwhelmed by the idea of being a small business owner. Like... what?! Being a small business owner was never something that appealed to me, because business isn't fun or pretty, it's serious and boring.
But over the past few months, as I followed more #bossladies on Instagram, as I read their blogs, and as I started to take my passion for photography seriously, it kind of hit me. I am a small business owner. And boy, did that thought scare me big time! I had no clue how to approach this big dream of mine, and I was so afraid to start.
Oh hello there, April, didn't see you there! Man, March absolutely flew by; I can't believe it's already April! The weather has started the change, the blooms have started to appear, and the showers have started to fall. It's such a lovely time of year, and I must say I'm thrilled the winter has finally ended! March was great, filled with some big moments and lots of personal growth, and I can't wait to see what April brings.
Welcome to the blog!
